Craft Continuum is an eclectic group of makers specialising in textiles, glass, ceramics, sculpture, drawing, collage, photography and jewellery. It was formed in 2016 by a core of new MA graduates from UCA, Farnham and held its inaugural exhibition at the Menier Gallery.

One year on the group, together with an invited selection of PhD students and Artists in Residence, has reunited to showcase its developing practice. A number of makers have already achieved recognition.

Ceramic artist Julie Massie was selected by the Crafts Council to exhibit her work on fragility at ‘Collect 2017’ and scooped the ‘Rising Stars’ award at New Ashgate Gallery, Farnham.

Teresa Munn’s unique ceramic writing fired the interest of the Craft Potters Association and she was invited to exhibit at their prestigious international show ‘Ceramic Art London’.

PhD student Dr Jennie Jewitt-Harris, recent Artist in Residence at Watts Gallery, is a multi- media artist using her experience in medicine to inform her work investigating what shapes us into who we are.

QEST Scholar Kate Boucher incorporates photography, drawing, forged metal and felt sculptures into her practice. Her work is held in private collections including The Edward James Foundation.
