Moving my Freight of Memory work on I am considering waste as a plentiful resource. We should now be benefitting from its careful harvesting and reprocessing thus embracing a circular economy approach. I take discarded waste and repurpose it into something more appealing. The repetitive cutting, threading and repurposing of these materials creates a calming rhythm in me. It soothes the anger triggered when I am regularly confronted by plastic waste in our natural and urban environment.
