Mona Craven

Mona is a fine artist, researcher and educator with a MA in Textiles from UCA. Her interest is in cultural in-between space metaphorically located between a whitework embroidery and an indigo resist-print cloth. Both cloths have histories associated with colonisation and decolonisation. In a cross-media approach to practice, she integrates physical space, photography and digital processes with cloth, stitch and thread to create art-textile installations and printmaking.
